Elements was created for a project where we could only use items we already have in our possession. Playing cards as a background for the suits seen on each side of the art piece. Each suit was created with the element that is associated with it. Hearts associated with water that was created using hot glue. Diamonds were created with sand, rocks and shells to demonstrate the earth. Using hot glue again, the spheres create the illusion of the air symbol for spades. Finally the Club is demonstrated with paper and sticks to create the illusion of fire.
