I used the book dust jacket image as inspiration for the painting. I sanded the edges and then painted the edge. With the hardcover a bit damaged, I added some textured paper to the front and back cover. I wanted to add something more to this project so I embossed the title Eragon as well as the dragon’s eye and a design around it on a sheet of aluminum metal.
