Years ago, I sketched an idea for a project that originally featured round planets in the background. The creature is a hybrid of a fox and a reptile. It is seen in another project called ‘Rift’. I later enhanced the design by incorporating Islamic motifs. I secured the leather onto the wood plaque with nails and then adhered the embossed metal on top.
